The Govt. Polytechnic College, Bhikhiwind runs four diploma courses viz. Computer Science & Engineering, Electronic & Comm. Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Each of these is a three year course. The syllabus of each course is as per Punjab State Board of Technical Education (PSBTE) and is National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSFQ) complaint. All courses are AICTE approved. Approved intake for the Academic Year 2021-22 is as under:
